Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation

Besides the fact you are within blocks of two world class Ski Canyons, Cottonwood Heights offers a nice variety of parks throughout the city. We have a the Skate Park for the skate boarders, we have plenty of baseball fields, tennis courts, football, soccer, ice hockey, basketball courts, swimming pools, pavilions for picnics, volleyball, horseshoes, playgrounds… We also have two golf courses that are just outside the city limits, Old Mill Golf Course just to the north of the city in Holladay and Willow Creek Country Club just to the south. The Willow Creek is in the annexation zone and soon may be part of the city.

In other words, Cottonwood Heights is a great place to raise a family. The culture seems to be family and business focused, with all the schools and parks, Cottonwood Heights has the most Class A Office Space outside of Salt Lake City.

I was wondering if dogs are allowed to swim and play in the pond off of 6200 S. and 3200 E. I know it is a leash area, but is the pond accessible for dog play?
