Open House and Safety Fair
MOMS Club® of Cottonwood Heights / Midvale is having a Fall Safety Fair and Open House Friday, September 11th. The MOMS Club® (MOMS Offering Moms Support) is an international nonprofit organization specifically for at-home/part-time mothers everywhere. We have over 2,000 chapters in seven countries, and we are inviting you to visit our chapter here in Cottonwood Heights/Midvale.
Our chapter has meetings with interesting speakers and discussions, park playdays, playgroups for preschool children, babysitting coops, activity groups like cooking club and arts‘n crafts, and a monthly Moms Night Out (activity groups change according to members’ interests). We have several activities a week for stay-at-home and part-time working mothers and their children. We also perform service projects to help needy children in our community. Our chapter meets during the day because that’s when mothers at home need the support and we allow mothers to bring their children with them to our activities.
Please join us Friday, September 11th for our Fall Open House and Safety Fair. The event will be held at the Golden Hills Firestation Park (8303 S Wasatch Blvd) from 11am – 1pm. Admission is free. We will have an officer from the new Cottonwood Heights Police Department speaking to the kids about personal safety. There will be information booths on community safety, home safety and health safety. We will be having a fun bike derby and other activities for the kids!
