As you may know cities on the East Side of the Jordan School district voted to break away from the monstrous school district. The New Canyons School District is open for business July 1st, 2009 led by Superintendent Dr. David S. Doty.
I have put together a list of the Cottonwood Heights Schools for you including some basic contact info and a map.
We have 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school inside of Cottonwood Heights City Boundaries. Cottonwood Heights and Ridge Crest Elementary Schools were closed a couple of years back. It is my understanding that the new Canyon School District will get the properties.
There is talk that the City of Cottonwood Heights wants to us the old Cottonwood Heights Elementary School property for a city center and relocate the city offices and the police department there. It makes sense, it is a large enough property and It is about as center of the city as you can get.

I also put the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center on the map. If you are checking out the schools for kids, you will want to know where the Rec Center is.
From what I am reading the school boundaries may be adjusted amongst other changes. We will get you info as soon as we can.
There are other schools outside the Cottonwood Heights City boundaries but service some of the outer edges of the city.
