The City Of Cottonwood Heights Says No Go On The Logo

by Rob Aubrey on November 22, 2008

I got a letter from the City of Cottonwood Heights. I’m thinking cool, I am a citizen that promotes the city well, I write good things about the police department, I serve on the school’s community council, I pay taxes, I rent office space in the city, and I spend money in the city. I’m thinking the city leaders want me to serve, I was a little giddy as I opened the envelope.

BUT NOOOO, I am not allowed to use the official city logo on my site that is about the city. That’s like telling an American not to use the flag on a site about being proud to be an American. Oh well.

PS I changed it on my other site http://www.cottonwoodheightshomesvalues.com/ too without being told.

PPS, I still think this city is great and please say thanks to Robby Russo and the gang.

I wonder if they are the same city leaders that violated the snow removal ordinance, and then changed the ordinance.
