If you never met a Super Hero, let me introduce you to Sheila Jennings.
From the tribune article
“Sheila Jennings has been named the civilian employee of the year by the Utah Chiefs of Police for her work in the neighborhood-watch program. Her 20 years of police experience convinced her of the program’s importance.
“I just really feel like community policing is the only way a police department can be effective, if they partner with their citizens,” Jennings said.”
For those that have the privilege of working with her first hand, let me say wow.
Sheila is any organizations dream. Her passion, knowledge and leadership skills are that of Super Hero status.
Her vision to have a city wide neighborhood watch is a big vision, and she is getting it done one refrigerator magnet at a time.
I have the privileged of working with Sheila and I love her style of leadership here is a clip from an article in Salt Lake tribune “Jennings takes a measured approach to leadership, Haslam said, guiding the group instead of issuing mandates on how things should be done.”
